Around 1910, she supported aspiring young artists, journalists and musicians. Among them were Otto Dix and Max Ernst. In this spirit, Caf\u00e9 Mutter Ey also attaches great importance to art and the promotion of local artists. This applies to our guests, of course, but especially to up-and-coming artists. The gallery on the 1st floor offers space for changing exhibitions by local creative artists from the D\u00fcsseldorf Art Academy. Homemade pastries and cakes harmonize with the fresh coffee specialities. The gallery, caf\u00e9 and outdoor area are open to the public, but can be booked exclusively.
